As you navigate through the EF-1 Tornado that impacted the Homewood community on Monday afternoon, here is a list of resources to help you manage your next steps.

Property Damage Form:

 Every report helps document the tornado's impact and may help secure state and federal disaster funding for Homewood's recovery. Please fill out this form no later than August 5, 2026.

Red Cross Shelter: 

If you are without power or have been displaced from your home, please consider stopping by the American Red Cross shelter that was set up for the EF-1 Tornado victims. 

Due to recent severe weather in southern Cook county, a shelter has been opened to support those affected:

 If you or someone you know has been impacted, please come to the shelter for:

--A safe place to stay
--Meals
--Charging stations
--Access to information and community resources
