The Village is working hard to help ensure the continued safety of all of our residents and Village staff. The Village continues to closely follow recommended protocols from the CDC and the IDPH and has contingency protocols in place should the virus impact Village staff and the community.

It's important to know; it is up to all of us to do our part and ensure that we minimize the opportunity for the virus to spread. Practicing good hygiene like washing hands properly, covering mouths when coughing, staying home when feeling ill, and cleaning commonly used surfaces with disinfectants, are great first steps.

The Village will update residents of operational changes and make adjustments as needed.

We encourage you to follow us on Facebook and sign-up for notices via email by clicking here and filling out the form. Additionally, you can stay informed by registering for CodeRED alerts.

Homewood officials will also evaluate the resumption of meetings and non-critical services as recommended by the CDC and IDPH.
