Seven public parking lots are located throughout the downtown area and are available to shoppers, residents, and employees of the downtown. These lots provide 3-hour parking throughout the week for all customers/shoppers in the downtown and on weekends.
An additional parking lot for patrons of the downtown is the Village Hall Parking Lot. The lot is available for use on weeknights and anytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Overnight parking or parking over multiple days is not allowed.

During the week, the Village Hall Parking Lot has up to five parking spaces available for rent. Daily rental spaces are $2.00 per day. Spaces must be reserved in person at Village Hall, no earlier than one day in advance. Monthly parking may be available for residents for a fee of $35.00 per month and non-residents for a fee of $50.00 per month.
There are private parking lots along the west and east side of the train station. The parking lot on the west side (Park Avenue) accommodates daily and overnight parking permits. The parking lot on the east side (Harwood Avenue) accommodates monthly parking permits. Two commuter parking spaces for Homewood residents aged 60 and over are available for those who periodically travel to downtown Chicago via the Metra train. The spaces are located in the southwest corner of the Village Hall parking lot located at Chestnut Road and Harwood Avenue. Spaces must be reserved in person at Village Hall no earlier than one day in advance. Permits are available at no charge.
