The purpose of the Beautification Committee is to advise and make recommendations to the Director of Public Works concerning short and long term landscaping projects on public property to beautify the Village of Homewood. Annually the Committee selects recipients for beautification awards and conducts a recognition ceremony. As a “hands-on” group, the Committee also participates in the actual planting of hanging baskets and planters. The Beautification Committee consists of ten members and meets at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month.
