The Senior Advisory Committee develops short and long-term programs and projects to improve the quality of life for Homewood’s senior citizen population. The Committee has developed a bracelet I.D. program to help emergency personnel identify a senior and important medical information when responding to an emergency. Senior issues and activities are discussed. The Committee consists of seven members plus ad-hoc representatives from the Police Department and the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District.
