Firefighters give presentations on fire safety at every school in the community. Firefighters are also available to meet with senior citizen groups and condominium associations.
Every year during Fire Prevention Week (October) the Fire Department holds its Open House. Residents are invited to the fire station to learn about fire safety and prevention. The Open House features interactive displays on a variety of fire and personal safety topics.
