Tree Management
The Landscape & Maintenance Division of Public Works is responsible for the landscape maintenance of all Village-owned property. This includes grass cutting, maintenance of flower beds, hanging flower baskets, potted plants, and landscaped areas.
The Village is responsible for maintaining all trees in the parkways, public rights-of-way, and public property. The Village requests that property owners refrain from planting, spraying, fertilizing, pruning, removing, cutting, or otherwise disturbing any tree on any street or municipally owned property without first notifying the Village.
Property owners must call the Public Works Department before doing any work on Village-maintained trees or planting on the parkways. Residents interested in planting a tree can participate in the Village's shared cost program.
