March 20, 2025 - The Village has launched an all-new parking website! The site has been modernized and made easier to access than ever before! The site is designed to be compatible with the new Village app and provide parking information in a single, easy-to-access place.

With a single-click, Village residents and visitors can now access a wide range of features and information, including:

• Information on ADA-accessible parking
• Information on bicycle parking 
• Information on commuter parking and travel
• Access to ParkMobile, our paid parking platform 
• Access to payment and appeals for parking citations

December 12, 2024 - The Village has completed installation of over a dozen new parking signs Downtown! Over the past several months, numerous residents provided feedback that they would choose to park in public lots if they knew where they were located and whether parking was available in them. In response, the Village partnered with Roeda Signs of Lynwood, IL to design and construct new signs for the numerous public lots located around the Downtown and Southgate neighborhoods.

These signs have been installed to make it clear where the Village's public parking lots are located. There are now monument signs located at each entrance to a public parking lot, and new illuminated wayfinding signs placed along main streets in the Village to point residents and visitors alike toward available parking. Watch for the new signs on your next visit to Downtown Homewood!
